GRP, or Glass Reinforced Plastic, is a composite material made from a polymer matrix reinforced with glass fibers. It is also known as fiberglass or FRP or GFRP.
GRE refer to the Epoxy resin used in the production of GRP product.
GRVE refer to the Vinylester resin used in the production of GRP product.
GRP offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, non-conductive properties, durability, and ease of fabrication. It is also lightweight, making it ideal for various applications.
GRP offer free maintenance benefits for a service life of 30 years unlike traditional material that needs regular maintenance during service life.
Yes, GRP is considered environmentally friendly due to its energy-efficient manufacturing process and long lifespan, which reduces the need for frequent replacements and maintenance.
Custom fiberglass fabrication is all about creating unique, sturdy, and lightweight fiberglass products that cater to the specific needs of clients in a variety of industries.
GRP is used in construction, automotive, marine, industrial, and consumer goods sectors. Common applications include roofing, anti-slip flooring, handrails, fencing, and vehicle parts.
Yes, GRP can be customized to meet specific design and performance requirements. Various resins and finishes are available to suit different environmental demands and slip resistance needs.
Yes, GRP is highly resistant to weathering, UV rays, and corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor applications like roofing and fencing.
GRP has a high tensile strength comparable to steel, but it is much lighter. Its high strength-to-weight ratio makes it a preferred material in many industries.
GRP can be made fire-resistant by using specific FR resins. Fire-resistant GRP products can achieve various fire ratings depending on the formulation.
- ASTM E84 is a standard test method used to assess the surface burning characteristics of building materials. It helps determine how various materials react during a fire. Specifically, it provides comparative measurements of surface flame spread and smoke density, comparing them to select grade red oak and fiber-cement board surfaces under specific fire exposure conditions.
- UL 94 :the Standard for Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances testing, is a plastics flammability standard released by Underwriters Laboratories of the United States.
- UL 10C is a positive pressure test that assesses the performance of fire doors, specifically evaluating their ability to retain their secure assembly during the test. It is one of several regulations enforced on fire doors and their hardware in the United States.
- ASTM D 635 : Standard Test Method for Rate of Burning and/or Extent and Time of Burning of Plastics in a Horizontal Position.
- BS 476 Part 7 : BS 476 Part 7 is a British standard for fire tests on building materials and structures. It specifies a method of test for measuring the lateral spread of flame along the surface of a specimen of a product orientated in the vertical position under opposed flow conditions, and a classification system based on the rate and extent of the flame spread.
- ISO 4589-2 specifies methods for determining the minimum volume fraction of oxygen, in admixture with nitrogen, that will support combustion of small vertical test specimens under specified test conditions. The results are defined as oxygen index (OI) values.
- ASTM E119 is a standard method for the fire testing of building construction and materials. The test measures the duration for which a specific material or installation can contain a fire and retain structural integrity. The test results provide useful information for fire safety and emergency planning.
- ISO 5659-2:2017 specifies a method of measuring smoke production from the exposed surface of specimens of materials or composites. It is applicable to specimens that have an essentially flat surface and do not exceed 25 mm in thickness when placed in a horizontal orientation and subjected to specified levels of thermal irradiance in a closed cabinet with or without the application of a pilot flame. This method of test is applicable to all plastics.
- IEC 60754-1:2011 specifies the apparatus and procedure for the determination of the amount of halogen acid gas, other than hydrofluoric acid, evolved during the combustion of compounds based on halogenated polymers and compounds containing halogenated additives taken from electric or optical fibre cable constructions.
ASTM F3059 is a standard specification for fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) gratings used in marine construction and shipbuilding . It provides the testing and performance requirements for FRP gratings to ensure personnel safety and equivalency to steel gratings rated for a maximum load of 94 psf (4.5 kN/m 2). It is intended for use by all persons involved in the design, manufacture, testing, inspection, and maintenance of FRP gratings
We use open mould system for molded tanks and molded grating products
We use VIP ( vacuum infusion process ) for modular tanks & large size products
We use Pultrusion process for pultruded products

GRP is easy to cut with standard hand tools like saws. It is lightweight, simplifying the installation process and eliminating the need for heavy lifting equipment.
GRP products are highly durable, with a typical lifespan of over 30 years under normal operating conditions.
GRP requires minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning with mild soap and water is usually sufficient to keep it in good condition.
While GRP offers many advantages, it can be more expensive than traditional materials like wood or steel. It can also be susceptible to damage from sharp impacts and may require specialized equipment for manufacturing.
